The Seven Clans of Heavstine

Fifteen years ago, a group of heroes fought to protect the world, fought to save and preserve the world as they knew it. They succeeded in protecting their way of life, but shortly after Heavstine was thrown into conflict. War broke out, cities were ravaged to the ground, hundreds of thousands of people lost their life, and most of the continents resources were used up crafting weapons and instruments of war. In the end only seven Lords remained, and they were ready for peace. They held a summit on Mount Gilgoth, each brought a small platoon with them to serve as a guard; who stayed at the foot of the mountain, the Lords removed their armor and weapons, and each strode up to the top of the mountain. At the top they each split the continent into seven parts, with a 100 mile area around Mount Gilgoth as the epicenter each lord governing those lands and the people within them. This area around Mount Gilgoth was know as the Gilgoth Demilitarization Zone, and together the Seven Lords built a city at it’s base; a city in which each of the Seven Lords stationed an ambassador, a city in which the troops protected the citizens from the wilds, but if the city were ever attacked it would provoke the wrath of each of the Lords. Every two years a grand tournament is hosted in the city. A tournament for those who deem themselves to be the best of the best to prove it, a tournament where champions are crowned. Whether it be in games of skill, wit, might, or simply showing off a craft; a champion is chosen. Who, or what, will you become. Who, or what, will you prevail and be crowned the champion of the Gilgoth Games.
